What Version of the Bible do you use?

At the beginning of our first study Michelle recommended a version of the bible that I had never heard of...that's right...I'm no guru when it comes to the Bible..I have a New Kings James Version and a NIV.  She has and recommends the Life Application Study Bible.  Hers is a NLV or New Living Translation.  I may look into it.  What kind of bible do you have and love?  Why?

    My sister n law has that version and I was looking at lunch on Monday and it seemed easy to read... in a language you can understand. I have a KJV and NIV and sometimes when I read I don't get it so I just close it. I may look into getting a new living translation bible

    Me too! I went to the LifeWay store today on lunch break!!! I never knew there were so many translations...and I really don't think they existed when I went to church more...to be honest; all my bibles were gifts so now that I get to choose my bible I'm super excited!!!
